Puppetry Projects
Publix
Publix's "Best Friends" campaign centres on a group of neighbourhood dogs with a big apology and a bigger pie. Directed by Mark Molloy and produced by Smuggler and EXIT Films for agency FIG, the two-minute film was crafted entirely with handmade puppets. Kailah was part of the puppetry team that brought the dogs to life on set.
Monkey Baa Theatre
Australia's award-winning Monkey Baa Theatre Company brings beloved children's books to life through world-class puppetry for young audiences. Kailah has been collaborating with the company for nearly a decade, taking on roles both on stage and behind the scenes across three productions: Diary of a Wombat, Edward the Emu, and Where is the Green Sheep?
Martha the Monster
In a world where humans live alongside monsters, Martha finds herself stuck with a major identity crisis. Kailah played and operated the lead character Martha, performing alongside Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, and Krew Boylan.
Good Game: Spawn Point
Australia's favourite kids gaming show, where the Screen Goblin brings a touch of chaos (and surprisingly solid gaming tips) to the den.
Toruk: The First Flight
A visually stunning arena spectacular inspired by James Cameron's Avatar, set thousands of years before the events of the film. Kailah toured internationally with Cirque du Soleil as a Na'vi Warrior and Viperwolf Puppeteer, performing the show across arenas worldwide.
War Horse
At the outbreak of World War One, Albert's beloved horse Joey is sold to the Cavalry and sent to France. Unable to enlist, Albert sets out on a mission to find him and bring him home. Kailah served as Head Puppeteer on the Australian production, operating the lead horses Joey and Topthorn in one of the most celebrated puppetry productions in theatre history.
The Amazing House
A mischievous, magical house full of surprises helps kids discover the joy of reading through phonics, fun, and a little puppet chaos.
